"Friends of the River Frome and Hope Frome encourage everyone to join in
a big town clean-up in the Spring and Autumn.  Individuals  would be
very welcome to join us at 10.30 at the Canoe Club on 6 March. We aim to
finish by 12 noon, but I don't know whether soup will be on offer  or not.

Alternatively, or as well, the other litter picking sessions through the
year are very much in need of volunteers. Here is a list of dates.
